Clinique Take the Day Off: Favorite Makeup Remover of all times

I seriously love this stuff! Apply it to your skin while it's still dry and rinse it off.  It's oily as you massage it on your skin, don't be alarmed, as soon as you add water it will change to a milky consistency.  It's great for any type of skin, oily or dry and it does not contain any fragrance. This works well for me with my sensitive skin and all.  A little goes a long way and it will last you a very long time. Currently it's priced at $29 at Sephora, it's sold at others stores as well , such as; Macy's, Nordstrom, Belk etc... for the same price.  Ask for a sample of it if you just want to try it out, I promise you will not be disappointed.  Let me know what you think!

Blemishes be gone; Rose Hip Seed Oil & Tea Tree Oil

I had to share these miracle oils. As I previously mentioned in my last post, during the middle of last year I started breaking out like never before. I did find an awesome daily moisturizer but I still had dark spots remaining from the breakouts. I tried toners to help out but I truly started seeing a major difference once I began using rose hip seed oil and tea tree oil. They both can be purchased from your local Vitamin Shoppe or Amazon.

Tea Tree Oil is an essential oil, it derives from a plant called Melaleuca Alternifolia in Australia. It has many uses and is very effective. Apart from using it on my face, I sometimes use a hint of it on my hair. The Rose Hip Seed Oil is full of antioxidants and vitamins, it does wonders by itself but I use it in combination with the tea tree oil now. I first started using the rose hip oil by itself in February, back then, I only used it during the nighttime as I was afraid my skin would feel too oily during the day but to tell you the truth it just sinks right into the skin. I later bought the tea tree oil and started using the two during the day. I usually add two full drops of the Rosehip oil and 5 to 10 small drops of the tea tree oil  in a separate bottle. You can add whatever amount works best for you but beware of the smell of the tea tree oil; I don't mind it but I know some who can't stand it at all :)
Not only have I seen my blemishes diminishing but I've also seen a change in the texture of my skin. I used about two small drops of it day and night, I have dry to combination skin so I don't consider it being two oily for me as it sinks right into my skin. Now, if you have oily skin you might want to use one small drop of the mixed oil. Lately with this heat, I just use it where I still have some blemishes and use my moisturizer after. All and all I love love these two products and I cant complain about the price :)
I also stop wearing makeup everyday; lately I've just been using mascara and eyeliner. Letting my skin breath definitely helped as well.

Here are a few before and after pics just so you can see the result...

Last year...Last year...
The two below were taken last week, no makeup.

If you try them let me know what you think. Best wishes! :)

God bless!

Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

Have you been breaking out more than usual…?

For the past several months I’ve been struggling with breakouts, mostly on my cheeks. I stopped using the products I used in the past and tried some cleansers that others suggested from; Mario Badescu, La Roche Posay , etc… hoping that my skin would improve. None worked well until I tried the “Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash”.  I realized the good it did for my skin in September when I took a  sample I received a while back  from Birchbox with me on vacation. I used it for two weeks straight, my skin felt amazing!! It gave my face a very clean feeling without the over dry feel, I did also notice that I was not breaking out as much. Some may find it to be over drying but a good moisturizer will help; I have combination to dry skin and it t works well for me.  After using the entire sampler I invested in a full size one, so far I’m really enjoying it in combination with some other products I’ve been using. Give it a try and let me know what you think, you can get a small sample from Sephora before deciding to purchase a full size as certain products that work for some may not work for all. The full size “5 Oz” cost $20.00 at Sephora or you can purchase the smallest size one “1.7 Oz” from Origins’ website. Wish you all the best, hope it works well for you and that you like it as much as I do!

God Bless
